use articleimg in page

I'd like to setup the page template such that IF there is a value in articleimg, it displays the image at the top of the page, similar to what is done on posts in Chrome. I'm not really a codemonkey (unless you count css), so I could use any pointers to resources to help me get this working. Thanks!
