Question re: posts

Currently, if I click on a sidebar widget, I'm brought to a page that lists all of the full posts, one after another.

I'd like to list only partial posts with clickable headers that will bring the reader to the full post.

I'd also like to have an attractive comment box at the end of each post but I'm not sure where to look for one.

I would greatly appreciated your help.
