Default Changing color in slide-nav.png

Hello,

Now that I have changed background color in almost every part of the office theme, I'm not shure how to change it in the slide-nav.png, because when I try to open it in CS3 Photoshop, it tells me that I'm going to loose fireworks functionality in the file when I save it after my modifications. Do you have any recommendations for me how to change it without using fireworks (because I don't have this program)?

Thanks for your help.
