Default Page Views

Looking for a quick an easy way to incorporate a "page views" counter on the full post page. Right under the category indicator would be great Is there a plugin you guys recommend??

I tried Lester Chan's (http://lesterchan.net/wordpress/readme/ ... views.html) but couldn't get it to show up on the page.

His instructions say to find <?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?> on the page.php file

And then insert <?php if(function_exists('the_views')) { the_views(); } ?> anywhere underneath it.

No go. Does this have to be done in the breadcrumb.php file instead?? Is there a better plugin?

Thanks for your help.

JR
