Replacing AdSense with Permanent Images

Good Morning-

With everything being controlled now by widgets, and the Adsense code no longer in sidebar.php, is this thread no longer an option? If not, is there a widget that allows me to insert a hyperlinked photo with the same dimensions as the Adsense?
