Borders on images in posts.

Hi All,

I'm using the caption facility in my posts to caption photos, however I'm also putting the odd gif image in posts as well. Captions for these are not required however I'm getting an unwanted black border. I've checked through the style.css file and there are no relevant border settings for this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
