New Users - Getting Started Help

I am new to StudioPress and Wordpress. All the directions on StudioPress are not clear in my opinion so here are some straight forward directions / steps based on my experience.

If you are reading this this is your first time using StudioPress. You HAVE to buy the middle package. The Genesis package only includes StudioPress's Genesis framework, not the theme you thought you were buying.

If you have already purchased the Genesis package you can email them and ask for a discount code to buy the theme package you want and pay the same price as the middle package.

1. You need to set up your own hosting account, like Go Daddy. If you go into you Go Daddy hosting account, you can have the wordpress application automatically downloaded into your account.

2. Using an FTP site, you need to log into your hosting account.
a. You need to go into the WORDPRESS folder / CONTENT / THEME and tranfer the Genesis and you new theme folder into the THEME folder
b. You need to log into your wordpress account through the hosting account. This should be the URL: http://domainname.com/wordpress/wp-admin/

3. Now in your wordpress account you can go into the APPREANCE / THEME folder and install your new theme.

4. Now I need to figureout how to get the demo site actually loaded. StudioPress's directions are not working..
