Getting Started Basics with Lifestyle Theme

I am new to the world of "blog development" and really love this theme. After downloading it, I thought it would be pretty user-friendly, like the flexibility theme, where all of the blog options were under the themes Option button. However, this whole theme has been a mystery for me to dig and search for clues. Unfortunately, I haven't found any of the answers that I need outright. It's almost as if you have to be an expert programmer to upload the blogs unique features.

Here's what I need to know:

1. How to change the color of the theme?? (is it possible)
2. How to change the banner/header from saying "lifestyle theme", to putting my own logo and text.
3. How to add featured articles feature so pictures can be scrolling along with post excerpt.
4. How to Add videos.
5. How to get pictures to display with each post headlines on the home page.
6. How to change the sub headlines text

I need a step by step guide on using and updating the appearance of this theme....is that available?

I feel like I need to hire a programmer to get the theme right, and I didn't want to have to pay twice for this look, which is why I bought the theme with intent to make the changes myself...please help me!
