home page text automatically showing up in bold

Hi, the text in the right column on my home page is showing up in bold for some reason. It starts there and also affects the sidebar as well.
I've got a good idea it's something in the php code but can't seem to pinpoint it in the home.php section which is where the error logically seems to be coming from. Any ideas?
