WP Multi User/Network

I was wondering if there is a way to set my site up to where each subscriber only has to register once (even though I have 3 wordpress installs on the site)? I have the main site and two subdirectories loaded with WP. Not sure if Multiuser or Network would allow me to do this. Ant help is much appreciated!
