Header Photo positioning

Hi,

I have several questions.

1. At http://www.coolchecks.net/blog I want the photo on the right side of the header to be positioned flush with the top of the header area. How do I do that?
2. I would also like to put a bullet list of highlights about the site for SEO pursposes. I want i to go right before that right hand photo. How would I do that?
3. Is there a way to pull in the recent posts like a regular blog does?
4. Where do you configure your signature on the boards here?
5. I'd like to change the color of the background box that surrounds the main area - it's very small in width. I don't know where to do that and have hunted to no avail.
