random post

This question is for a FCG query however I think it relates to general wordpress coding.

The FCG displays the images in latest post first order. I am wanting to make it select random posts.

The guys over at the FCG site dont know how to do it, but they said

Now Ive looked at line 44:

For the life of me I cant figure this out. Anyone any ideas?
