Newbie- confused about pictures showing up

Ok. Being new at this I'm really confused . Revolution Lifestyle theme. I want to include the demo pictures and demo posts into my testing version to learn from it. I have read various posts and am very confused. I can't seem to find the right post or find them again after reading them. Could someone re-post the post with picture?

I have made a Category called Featured.
I have made a least two posts that have Featured marked as a category.
I have enabled the plug-in for the featured content gallery
I have made a custom field for the hpbottom image with the value as http://revolutiontwo.com/demo/lifestyle ... wood-1/jpg
I imported the lifestyle.xml file from the unzipped folders

I only get a black box with the striped loading box but nothing ever loads for a picture. I do see the Titles of the two test posts load and change.

I must have missed something.

What do I put in the custom field for the articleimg (top- larger photo)?
