What are your recommended article widgets

Now I get the theme (after using rev 1 and rev 2's this is a little different)

What would you recommend as the ideal article widgets as i will use the most basic widget codes within the columns, as long as they support the pics/characters translating over to the screen (some of the other widgets that display articles lose styles etc?)
