DOCTYPE Incorrect?

DOCTYPE Incorrect?

I'm being told that the DOCTYPE on the Church theme may be wrong.

Whilst it is set at XHTML, I'm being told that the coding used is HTML4.
The comments were mainly incorrect use of capitals and closing /.

Can anyone comment on this pls?
