Removing post date & author as well as comment field

Hi!

I guess I am all about removing blog features today - I need to get rid of the author & date in posts.
I already got so far as to not have them displayed on the blog page via deleting the tagline there, but they still appear on the individual post. There I also need to rid of the comment field.

Google turned up nothing helpful, so I ask here.
