Best newsletter plugin?

I'm building a site based on the Revolution One theme and need to be able to manage a newsletter from the site. Need to be able to collect subscriptions, manually compose newsletters, manage users, etc.

I had seen the ShiftThis newsletter plugin, but it seem to be problematic, the support pretty non-existent and so I don't fancy paying for without the backup.

Any suggestions on recommended solutions, or is that as good as they get?
