"# of Posts in List" not working

"# of Posts in List" not working

Regardless of the number of posts I enter to list in the "# of Posts in List:" field, the theme lists ALL of my posts in the selected category. Why is that and how can I correct it?

My site is http://www.integratedmother.com; however, I've changed the category to one that only has two posts until I figure this out. Otherwise my blog looks terribly awkward with a LONG list of "MORE" posts that I can't seem to control.
