Is there a way of having default thumbnails in place?

Default Is there a way of having default thumbnails in place?
Like what I said in the subject line, is it possible to have automated "default" thumbnails in place in case you don't have a unique thumbnail for each one of your posts like that of Lifestyle 1.0?
