Urgent: Questions, questions, questions

I just activated the new theme (http://www.juiced.de/blog/) and have a few questions:

1. *already solved by myself*

2. I did everything as written here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=16 - but the three Featured Content-Pictures won't show up. Any suggestions? I also included the three additional "Custom Fields"!
*edit*: I just tried everything with "featured" - and as the main category, but it didn't work either...

More questions to come. I'd be thankful for quick answers to fix it before the Germans wake up again... :)
