Subnav bar items 2-deep disappear

Subnav bar items 2-deep disappear

If you have a look at the sub menu here: http://www.e-lusion.co.uk/ and select Photography then My Portfolio, when you try to select either Nature or Animal the menu disappears. I've managed to get the menu to stay once or twice but generally it disappears. Any ideas?

I've found this tutorial: http://studiopress.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=585. Would this fix it? It's not quite the problem as the home page is blank and the sub menu still doesn't work.
