How to move to new host

Well, the development site is complete and we're ready to move it to our main site.
We installed the church theme on one host and did our tweaking and live testing. Now it's time to move it all to the main host where we keep the site.
What's the best way?
For sure, we start with backups.
But is there a guide or tutorial? How do we make the lnks work as we make the woodsidedev.org test site live as woodsidebible.org on our new server.
