Hi all,
Not really a problem anymore for me but I am curious how you think about this. When I created my site for Blue Factory I picked Agency as the theme of choice. It is an excellent business theme I still think. No regrets about that choice. I placed only featured page widgets on the frontpage with the first sentences of that page. My site turned up excellent in Google and other search engines. No problems so far. Then my site's homepage fell from the search engines it seemed. After some searching I got to a point where I thought; if my homepage has content which you find on other pages with a descriptive URL it may think that my homepage is useless for users so I am skipping that one. I made my homepage more dynamic now and I am curious to see the results. What is your guess on this? SEO wise this can happen and it isn't funny Last edited by CharlesClarkson; 07-06-2011 at 09:52 PM. Reason: Changed title from "Static frontpage with featured page widgets" |
