Including "Feature Photos" item from Chrome

Dear R2 team,
I want to include the"Feature Photos" item from the Chrome theme in the Church theme homepage.
Could you tell me please wich are the basics steps to do so?
Is it just a copy/paste process from the home.php Chrome document into the home.php Church doc, or do I need to import as well any other documents (js libraries, specific plugins...).
