Cannot upload Theme

Cannot upload Theme

I just purchased a child theme but cannot upload it. My wordPress dashboard >appearance has no 'add new themes' function. I am currently running my site on a free wordpress hosting account. According to their 'help' section they don't allow upload of new themes. Does that mean I can't use my child theme without moving my site over to a different host?
