Comment count on homepage

Hello,

First off all, thank you for a great theme and earlier support you have given me.

My webpage: www.aksjebloggen.com

I would really want to have the total number of comments for each post and perhaps also the date it got postet to be written beside the "Read more" (Les mer) on the frontpage. Is this possible and how can I do this?
