Odd blank sidebar items in IE

Thanks in advance to those who read and respond to these problems.

There is a recent issue in my classic Church Theme installation as it appears in Internet Explorer. (FireFox looks fine.)
There are some odd "blank" sidebar items. Would someone please point me in the right direction for a fix?
