wordpress blank

All my sites are blank. They all have uncorrupted databases and all pertinent files are there. It appears that only index.php or the frontpage.php is missing for the two that use custom landing pages for the start page. The addon domains got deleted as well. I added back the addon domain and index file as needed for two of the sites and yet I still get a blank page. I have two questions: 1) Any ideas how to easily fix it? 2) How do I check what wordpress version I have since I cannot even pull up the admin section?
