HTML image code

Hello

I need help with code to insert and image into a text widget. I am trying this:

<img src=“http://www.spencermcdonaldphotograph...iambutton.png” />

I am sure this is easier than I am making it. Could you give me the proper html coding? Also, if I want o include a hyper link how would I do that? Thanks so much.
