Database Export/Import Problem

Has anyone ran into this problem.

I changed the database prefix to something other than wp_. I Exported the database using PhpMyAdmin, but when I Imported it into another database I got the standard 'Sample Page' you get when you install Wordpress. I then Exported/Imported a wp_ prefix database and all the data showed up.

So I am under the impression that PhpMyAdmin cannot Export/Import a database when the prefix is not wp_. If this is so, is there another method can I use.
