Default Where's the header.php to install Google Analytics code?

I installed the Genesis Framework and the free child theme. All I see in my Appearance Editor is the stylesheet and Functions. Where do I add Google Analytics code? There's no header and I don't see the Genesis Framework on the drop down to get to it's files.

This is my first time using the GF... someone helped me set it up for a client site. It is very confusing. Is there a user's guide?

Also, don't see the advantage of using it over a custom theme?

Thanks in advance.
