Shopping Cart in Studiopress

Shopping cart sites are becoming all the rage. I need one, my clients are asking for them. I only want to work in Wordpress and have managed to do ALL I need in Studiopress.

I've used wp-ecommerce and had a quick play with phpurchase. wp-ecommerce is still running a functional site but updating is a major issue and trying to get support, well, good luck with that.

I reckon the go would be if we took an 'off the shelf' shopping cart, banded together and developed the smartest Studiopress shopping cart system together. Is that something either Studiopress could take on, or the other key people behind it (I know you'll be down at Starbucks Brian - lol).

I've seen shopperpress, not sure how good it is or how flexible it is.

I'd be willing to invest in this. Anyone else had similar ideas or thoughts?

Anyone else got a head start and want to enlighten me?
