Default Best method to refresh a site?

I've been adding headers to several sites and I notice that when I hit refresh the changes don't display. So I downloaded a gadget for Mozilla that removes all the temp files and history with one click and even that's not bullet proof.

Is there some trick to getting a quick refresh to see if your changes look good?
