Church classic settings not saving

Please give me some good news.

First, I didn't read the tutorials but did a search for what I wanted to know, and not sure I see it...or like what I'm seeing.

My story is, about 8 months ago, I paid somebody to build me a wordpress site. Turns out all he did was install the Church theme on my Wordpress site. I've spent the last 7 months tweaking it to almost perfection. I love it just the way it is...almost.

But recently, I wanted to make some very simple changes to the Church Themes Settings that drive the display on the homepage...you know the content on the right, left and bottom sections.

I noticed when i change the settings and click save....they don't save. They just reset. I have this same theme on another site I just play with and it works just fine. I don't understand what I did, or why the settings are not saving...and why they are just reseting.

Please, point me to the direction, or tell me what .php I need to look at and where to go to fix this.

Also, I just paid for the Genesis framework and what I thought was the Church Theme, but instead I got this totally lame (and don't tell me the same because its not at all the same...I'll have to start 100% over tweeking my site to my desired display if I activate this them right?

So, I just paid $80.00 for what I hope was a good reason. Please just tell me how to fix my issue so I can tweek my Church theme and I'll be happy. Later on, I'll start messing with my Lifestyle theme to see if I can make it look the way I need, but right now, I just can't even think about it as I'm good, but not that good. And I have no time.
