best way to set up estore?

I am helping a friend of mine setup an estore website and was wondering a few things:

1) which ecommerce plugin is highly recommended? needs to have Australia Post integrations

2) the best way to list the items for sale - they are all one off items so once the pages are indexed it will be quite likely if it comes up in search results that they will be sold so would need to send people back to the main page or another product page, would still like to keep the sold products on the website as they are a showcase of the work she does.
