How to restore wordpress site backup via cpanel

WordPress version: with WordPress 3.2.1.
Theme version: Theme Genesis

I previously did a full backedup my wordpress site via cpanel using the wizard and stored it offline. However, how easy/difficult is it to restore that site and how do I do a restore? Is there an easy way?

I know there are a number of plugins for wordpress backups but any advice on how I should complete this process going forward would help.
