Default Making static top level in drop down menu?

Hi -

My site is: www.thellcdis.me

I've made drop down menus, and I really like them. The only issue is that I can't seem to find a way to make the top level menu items (The Work, About Me) become static items. They're set up as category menu items, and clicking them takes the user to a collection of posts. I want the sub-items underneath these headings to be dynamic, but for these to leave the user on the current page (no action).

I see how to make a "custom" menu item, but that requires a URL address, and therefore will still take the user to s new location (even if that's the homepage). What am I missing?

Thanks for the help -
Alan Whitley
