Default Changing Code using Editor - only displaying code for CSS

I am trying to go into the files using the Editor option. The files for this theme display on the right side. I have the css file up with the code. In the past, I have been able to select a file (e.g. footer) and see the code in the editor box. It does not seem to matter what file I select, the code displaying is on the css file. It is the www.chitchatmagazine.com site.

How do I get this editor option to work as I want to change some code in the footer file, etc.?

Darlene
