Default Moving "dev" site to root directory

When changing from a flat HTML site to a WP site. I install WP in a directory called "mock". Once the client approves. I delete files from the root directory, under Settings under I change the the path from ./mock to root, then copy the WP directory into the root directory.

However I had problem yesterday. Some of the pages in the HTML code were still pointing to ./mock.

I thought if I made the change under settings it would update all the code. The odd thing is that some of the images were loading correctly but not all. I am starting to upgrade a lot of sites from flat HTML and need to have an easy reliable way to handle this.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Andrew
