Nextgen gallery code appearing on home page

Hello all, I've been racking my brain trying to solve this problem. I hope someone here can help.

I have the nextgen gallery installed in posts which are linked to the hpbottom section of my home page. As I want the nextgen slideshow to appear at the start of the post, I have inserted the slideshow id code before the post text but this is causing the code to show on my home page instead of the post excerpt.

The houses are 3 bedroomed, all en-suite, plus additional guest room. They are south facing and overlook our beautiful Marina.

Needless to say, I want to find a way of keeping the slideshow at the start of the post but have the text excerpt appear on the home page instead of the gallery code. Does anyone have any suggestions? Kind regards.
