Default Crawl Error caused by HTML error

This is largely my problem, but if anyone has any insights....

I started my site on IThemes, and then scrapped that and came to Genesis. Going through my folders on my server, I found a folder in uploads for an Ithemes style builder. I went to delete it, and it has caused some kind of problem.

For instance my smushed images became unsmushed.
And I am now getting some Google Crawl errors and some strange text in my HTML on some pages

<p class="hide-if-no-js">

Because I hadn't got round to backing up my site, I think I am stuffed, and will have to reinstall and rebuild from scratch. In one way I want to do this, because I want to strip away anything extraneous form my site anyway. (Assuming that that would speed it up, and mean less security vulnerabilities).

Unless anyone can advise me on a better way to rectify the problem.....
