Best third party slider?

Hi - What are some recommendations for a good third party Wordpress slider plugin?

The Genesis Slider is a little too limiting for me on one of my sites - I need fading, and greater HTML controls. I wouldn't mind seeing any working examples people have.

Also - what is the recommended way to embed this into a Genesis home page Widget? Am I best to put a shortcode into a TEXT widget or put it into a Post/Page and then drag it in with Genesis Featerued page/Post widget?
