Hi All,
Not sure the best way to go about this, and would like some tips.... The situation is that I love Genesis, but I have some other sites using different theme frameworks.... I would ideally like to have these also on Genesis, but they do offer some pretty specific functionality that I would need to retain. It seems like what I need is a custom made child theme, but not sure the best approach? Would I give a developer the theme I want to base it on, or is it better to just do a detailed brief that makes it clear what is desired and let them code from scratch? (The theme I want to convert from is a bit buggy hence part of the reason I want to get back to tried and tested, expertly coded Genesis). At the same time, I want to re-design the site anyway so I would also be supplying PSDs with the new design. Hope that makes some sense ?!
