Slow loading Site

Hi everyone,
We just relaunched: http://www.thecanaryreport.org but are having intermittent loading issues with pages, posts, and even in the admin. It loads quick one minute and terribly slow the next. Overall performance is disappointing to say the least.

We have tried messing with the plugins (deactivating, deleting unnecessary ones,etc) and tried using a caching plugin - we have searched throughout files and codes and have found no permanent remedy.

Talking with the webhost (GoDaddy) has been a bit frustrating, but they say we have not gone past any bandwidth limits. Waiting to hear a more in depth assessment of things on their end.

When first installing the Lifestyle theme -everything seemed fine, but now the site is painful most of the time to use.

Any thoughts, or seen this before?
