Smile Just a couple of quick questions about Genesis Connect

In the demo, I see that the Genesis Connect menu is listed as a secondary menu. Is it fairly easy to have the GC menu as the main menu? Is that as simple as setting Genesis up with custom menu use instead of as-is?

Second, can I easily change the css/html of how the member profile and/or certain elements of BP is laid out just by accessing the css of whatever GC-compatible theme I choose? Or do I need to go into the Buddypress side of things?

I am fairly new to the whole Buddypress scene. I just uploaded a test site and find that all of the default theme's files are located within the plugin folder itself and not in the themes folder. So all customizations on the default theme need to be made within that folder. Not super confusing but a little tedious. So i'm thinking GC might be a better way to go.
