CMS Site Structure

Hi All,

I'd like to use this theme as more of a CMS than a blog (but still with a "lite" blog). For example, I'd like the top menu row to have WP pages like "Home", "New", "Company", "Products", "Blog", etc. And I'd like the bottom menu row to have a breakdown of the product pages "Big Widgets", "Small Widgets", "Round Widgets", etc. :D

So, the items in each menu row would all be WP static pages instead of post pages, except that the "Blog" item would go to a blog/posts page. How can this be accomplished?

If the bottom menu is meant to be for blog categories, I could use blog categories to create the product category pages, but then I would have "Posted by admin..." and all that info on those pages. I don't want that, but I do want that kind of info on true blog pages.

Is there any way to achieve the kind of thing I'm hoping to do?
