When I add an image, it creates an absolute path to the image location. For example, I uploaded a background image and it shows in the code as residing at 'http://myserver/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/bg-image.jpg'
This is problematic because I am developing on a local server, and when I push it to a live server, I have to manually find and replace all of the links to my local server and replace them with new/correct links. Does anyone know how I can simply create everything using relative paths, so I don't have to change them all (and hope I don't miss any) later? Thank you! |
