I'm trying to find & select the best & stable way to clone and transfer a site that exists on a sub-domain and transfer that clone to a single site domain. Hopefully, we can start a deep discussion on the best & correct method to cloning a develop Studio Press site from multi-site & adding it to a sub-domain.
Sub-domain Multisite Example: Cloning "subdomain2" to a "single-site" domain subdomain1.mydomain.com subdomain2.mydomain.com subdomain3.mydomain.com Transferred & Deployed to New Single Site Domain: Subdomain2.com I already know of various WordPress plugins such as Replicator and WP Twin. However, I do not believe these plugins will achieve the concept of: Cloning a sub-domain on a Multi-Site install and have the ability to transfer that 1 sub-domain to a single site install. Does anyone know of what WP plugins or resources can be used to do this ? --OR-- Does anyone know of the best method to accomplish this in a stable & convenient way? (Meaning to ensure you clone/copy only that sites database & site files correctly for quick & easy upload installation) |
