Red face Adjusting page width and side bars?

I have been scouring the forum on how to adjust the widths of my sidebars...and while I found a few helpful posts - I believe I need to adjust the page width also. I'm using the Lifestyle theme.

I would like my two side bars (to 200 px) to be the same size if possible and then adjust the page itself.

I have tried using the Firebug but find it frustrating.

I know that I need to look for: #sidebar-alt, #content-sidebar-wrap, and #content and edit the background image of .sidebar-content-sidebar #inner ....but in the CSS style sheet there are many areas to adjust the background.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
