Default [RESOLVED] Bug with nav menus and submenus

I have observed this bug in several StudioPress themes (Black Canvas, and even the main StudioPress website) and it is quite frustrating.

The bug does NOT exist in Allure, Album, Chrome, Church, Corporate, Lifestyle, or Streamline.

Using a Macintosh, Firefox or Safari

There is some sort of "gap" between the menu item and the sub-menus because when I begin to slowly mouse down to the sub-menu, as soon as I get to the bottom edge of the main menu item but just before entering into the sub-menu, as soon as I cross that line, the sub-menu either disappears or the submenu for the second level main menu activates instead.

This is a major issue.
